The Wolf Among Us Remastered comes out digitally on 29 October 2026. Platforms are PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, with Xbox Series X|S covered by backward compatibility. The announcement says pre-orders and wishlists are open on Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. On 15 October 2026 the Steam page did not list a price.

Release date and time

Telltale and PM Studios gave the launch date on 27 August 2026. The game had first been shown at Summer Game Fest. Steam shows a planned release of Oct 29, 2026. PlayStation's US listing gives 10/29/2026 at 12:00 AM EDT, or 04:00 UTC. Other storefronts may use local midnight, so unlock times can differ by region.

Platforms

PC	Steam (Windows; no macOS or Linux build listed) and the Epic Games Store.
PlayStation	PlayStation 5. No PS4 version has been announced.
Xbox	The Xbox One version. It plays on Xbox Series X\|S through backward compatibility. No native Series X\|S version has been announced.
Nintendo	Nintendo Switch. The press release calls this the series' Nintendo debut.

Price and editions

The Steam API returned no price for the app on 15 October 2026, and the press release doesn't give one. This guide doesn't guess. Check your platform's store page before you pre-order. The 2013 original is still sold on Steam, at $14.99 in the US store on the same date. No deluxe edition or bundle tier has been announced. Physical retail editions are due in Q1 2027.

Languages

Steam lists English for interface, full audio, and subtitles. French, German, and Latin American Spanish have interface and subtitles only. The original Steam release was English only.

Age ratings and content

The developer's Steam notice says the game may contain some nudity or sexual content, frequent violence or gore, and general mature content. The PM Studios page lists Intense Violence, Blood and Gore, Sexual Themes, Partial Nudity, Strong Language, Drug Reference, and Use of Tobacco. It is a mature detective story, not a family game.

What happens next
